If it doesn't spin at power up, gently knock on the side the drive once or twice to jump start it. If it's major bad sectors (like if Windows boots with UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME or something), then your hard drives are fucked and putting them into a caddy isn't going to do dick.
