I'm not a VISTA user, but there are plenty here, and I'm sure one of them will jump in here and help you. Restore is really not that important since you can easily do a repair install, which will repair Windows but leave all your data and programs intact. But I've been in this position way too many times. Hard drives as small as yours...belong to another era.
