For some reason i re-installed windows 7 just to make sure and now the mouse/keyboard will work in BIOS, but not in windows. I don't believe for one second that it's a hardware issue as APPLE has told so many. As someone else mentioned, this problem has been occurring since 2010 so hopefully Toshiba will fix it soon!
