EasyBCD will install the boot loader and boot manager to you selected partition and mark the partition as active. If you cant find a windows 7 recovery cd then xp or vista's recovery cd should work you'll just have those operating systems bootloader. Simply boot ubuntu, and in terminal do: sudo grub-install /dev/sdX using the correct letter for the disk instead of X.
I generally just install on different disks, to avoid this problem completely. The old partition is still marked as Active, so maybe I can just move all the Boot related files from G: to the 350MB partition and it'll just work?
