Windows Vista Black Screen After Loading Bar

I tried pressing the F8 button but the laptop just keeps making this beeping noise ! I installed and was playing a game called Last Chaos. The very first time I tried to run in safe mode, it worked, or at least it took to me to a system restore window (not whole screen)with some other options How do I get the startup to show again? Reply Matt says: 7 years ago I had a similar problem but I had a black screen with NO CURSOR. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-performance/vista-black-screen-after-loading-bar/3fb5328c-aa92-4bce-82c9-dbcf74a3f27b

When I removed Vista and went back to XP, the problem was fixed. I also tried to to get safe mode w/ n w/o command prompt but it showed a black screen as well. i cant thank you enough. I have just got a new Gcard, BFG.280.

It took awhile. I can go to the setup by pressing F1 before it gets to the black screen, but F8 and F10 won't work so I cannot go to the safe mode option Thinks carrty on as normal on the Dell monitor. ty all Helpful +0 Report gary66 Dec 10, 2008 at 11:56 AM Hi everyone just been reading through the post.

Reply citywriter says: August 14, 2010 at 7:09 am Just tried this and it worked! As a last resort I tried a different brand of HDMI cable and it worked like a charm. If you know windows vista is booting (if you have your sound on you can hear the Windows startup jingle) to the desktop but your monitor says it doesn't have a but the funny thing is that my Vista logo is not even there when it should be so its just a loading bar.

Which is can't open Task Manager, can't restore it, even format also cannot works. http://superuser.com/questions/304411/black-screen-without-cursor-after-loading-bar-and-before-the-logo-in-vista start up, automatic repair, &... The same applies with any site resembling anti virus s/ware or other... Mac time..???

If we don't know exactly the fix recommended will have no effect! http://renoscanner.com/windows-vista/how-to-fix-blue-screen-of-death-windows-vista-in-safe-mode.html The computer should only load the drivers for the add in Video Card and you should be able to see the screen again. It Worked great for a few seconds.. However, I am down to one restore point and now that is not working.

Reply Kathie says: December 21, 2009 at 4:03 am Hi! Service Pack 1 it and download all the updates. Even inserting the original widows Vist - DOES NOTHING - NOTHING!!!!! this contact form I tried startup repair but it didn't work.

I just went from XPsp2 to vistax64 I managed to install everything without any problems..but as soon as I got to the GFX Drivers it got rly bad. I have various other display issues with my 3D CAD programs on this new driver though. Anyways, where should I get the chipset driver from Intel or it's manufacturer.

I dd this and it worked like a charm.
